Millennials entered the workforce just in time. Just in time for one of the most competitive job markets in recent history, that is.
At the same time, they entered the workforce just in time to to make their own career path, independent from the thought of “lifetime employment” and chasing some gold watch.
This infographic from Rasmussen College details how Millennials are increasingly foregoing the corporate route to pursue more entrepreneurial endeavors. In fact, according to recent data, 60% of Millennials surveyed consider themselves entrepreneurs, and 1 in 3 said they’d prefer to work at a start-up over completing a traditional degree.
Perhaps we should call Millennials the “entrepreneurial generation”…
