Some days are just plain tough. You wake up in the morning after two hours of sleep wishing you could pop in an Ambien and sleep for the next eight hours. But then you remember the laundry list of errands you need to do, the emails you need to return, and the expense report you forgot to turn in yesterday, and suddenly falling back into bed is no longer an option.
We all have these mornings at some point. So what do you do when you feel absolutely miserable about your job search, career, or anything else happening in your life at the moment? Take a cue from this girl.
Look in the mirror and give yourself a pep talk. Guzzle down a strong cup of coffee, pick up your hairbrush, and belt out a tune about what you like and love in your life right now.
I have a feeling, if we all followed this routine every morning, we’d leave the house feeling a lot better and brighter.
What do you do to get yourself motivated in the morning?
