Your job or internship interview is going off without a hitch. But just when you think the interview is over and you have this one in the bag, your interviewer asks:
“So do you have any questions for me about the position?”
Interviewing for an internship can be a nerve-wracking step in your career… especially if it’s your first internship.
So how do you calm the nerves and put your best foot forward? How do you your allow your strongest skills and qualities to shine through… without shooting yourself in that forward foot?
Recently I had the pleasure of interviewing students for internship positions at my company. I really enjoyed their enthusiasm; it reminded me of my days as an intern and a college student preparing for interviews. Now I’m sure back in my early days, I wasn’t an excellent interviewee. I had a lot to learn.
That being said, there are some job interview basics you should have down. Knowing these will immediately increase your chance for internship interview success.
