#InternPro Chat: How to Improve Your Personal Brand Before the Year Ends

personal brandHave you thought about your personal brand lately?

Your personal brand, established in large part through your online presence, can be the key to professional success. However, it’s not something you can just throw together and forget about. After all, the world changes. You’ve changed. Does your current personal branding show the world who you are right now? An old, stale personal brand can do more harm than good.

As 2017 draws to a close, it’s time to look at how you can improve your personal brand for the new year.

This Monday evening, October 16th, #InternPro moves to a new time slot to discuss ways to improve your personal brand in preparation for 2018. Join us at 8:00pm ET as we discuss identifying what needs to be updated, and also how to go about it.

We’ll Explore the Following Questions to Guide Our Discussion:

Q1: On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being best), how confident are you in your current personal branding? Why?

Q2: I’m all for improving my brand, but how do I identify what needs to change? Where do I go for feedback?

Q3: I am registered for two industry conferences between now and the holidays. How will that help my personal branding?

Q4: Relevant certifications would help a great deal. Where do I find courses I can complete in the next few months?

Q5: I’m told a personal website is the key to a great online brand. With LinkedIn and all, does that really help?

Q6: I’m still in college. I haven’t done much to create a unique personal brand. What should I do now to help the most?

Q7: What other tools or platforms should we use to improve or promote our brand? What are your favorites?

Q8: Finally, share with us the three people whose personal brand you admire. Who should we emulate?

As always, be sure to bring along your questions and advice to add to our discussion.

Join us… together, we’ll make 2018 the best year yet for your brand!
