Several months now after graduating, many college students are learning there is/was a large discrepancy between their expectations and workforce reality.
Specifically, they have discovered:
- Education | Only 6 out of 10 graduates are working in the field/major they chose in college
- Earnings | While 4 our of 5 expected to earn greater than $25,000 per year, only 2 out of 5 2014 graduates are earning that amount today
- Growth | 80% of graduates expected work relevant professional training from their employers, but less than 50% are getting that training
