Send Your Intern Resume Into Hyperspace

Do you have the best resume in the world? Have you worked at and fine tuned it so when you send it with internship applications, it’s just going to rule the world?

Well, if you have, that’s great. Good for you.

But let me ask you…does your resume have hyperlinks?

If not, why on earth doesn’t it?!?

Go through and add some, do it now. Why?

Well first, it’ll make you stand out.

Second, it will demonstrate to a potential internship employer that you are somebody who understands how to leverage technology.

Third, it gives the person reviewing your resume the option to dig deeper if they want to, without requiring them to dig through a bunch of detail they may not care about.

Put some hyperlinks in your resume and you may just send your career into hyperspace!

I’ve read that certain companies filter out hyperlinked resumes to avoid spam. I think it’s best to just use a web address without hyperlinking.
