YouTern’s blog is another year older — and over the course of the past year, we’ve improved and expanded The Savvy Intern to include more posts by more authors covering a wider range of subjects designed to help you develop and execute your career goals.
Whether you’re a regular reader, an occasional passerby or just discovered our blog, we sincerely hope you read us as we intend — as a virtual mentor, support group, coach… perhaps even as a knowledgeable reference librarian (sans glasses and “Be Quiet” shushes). At YouTern, we hope to energize and motivate while we encourage you not to wait for opportunities to happen to you (like most of your career competition), but instead for you to make something happen now.
Our Top Five Blog Posts of 2011 range from the practical, to social media resource, to hopefully inspirational. In what has become a tradition in this end of the year blog post, we added an “honorable mention” — this year that post is about a man that has inspired us for many years: Steve Jobs.
Now, enjoy our Top 5 posts from 2011!
