About Entrepreneurs Unpluggd

Entrepreneurs Unpluggd is a media and events company based in Chicago that consists of an event arm where we produce live in-person events for entrepreneurs, and a content arm that consists of our website full of blog articles, video interviews, videos of our speakers and more. The company is run by two entrepreneurs who share a passion for entrepreneurship and storytelling (@startupstella and @timjahn).

The opportunity

We're looking for you to help plan and execute our social media strategy for our content arm to increase specific business metrics. You'll gain valuable experience in online marketing, using social media for business, and insight into how an online business operates. If you're a smart, entrepreneurial student looking to gain experience in online marketing and social media for business, we want you.

About you

• You are active on social media.
• You are passionate about the tech industry and startup/entrepreneur scene.
• You understand how social media can be used to positively affect a businesses' bottom line.
• You're a self starter who doesn't need anybody constantly looking over their shoulder.
• You're comfortable in a remote working environment (we work remotely).
• You have 5-10 hours a week to devote to this internship.

What you get

You'll gain valuable experience working with a nationally recognized startup that is well connected in the startup and entrepreneur scene. You'll gain valuable experience in online marketing, using social media for business, and insight into how an online business operates.

Note: This is an unpaid internship but can be registered for school credit.
