Over 125,000 design savvy clients visit the site every month to find their perfect items and read design and art news, original stories, interviews, and more. VandM.com is wholly owned by Circle Peak Capital, a private investment firm focused exclusively on smaller control-stake buyouts and delivering significant value-creation companies through the utilization of extensive operational expertise resident at, or around, the firm.

Role: VandM.com is currently seeking a Social Media Intern to assist with the firm’s growth and social networking activities.

Specific Responsibilities:

* Candidates should be comfortable navigating the web and social media sites, such as Facebook, Twitter, Kaboodle, etc.

Qualifications: Candidates must possess the following to be considered for the position:

* Strong knowledge of marketing, social networking channels, e-commerce, interior design and/or the antiques or vintage furniture industry.
* Ability to work independently with limited supervision
* Very strong work ethic; self-starter; ability to multi-task; resourceful
* Strong written skills; exceptionally strong oral communication
* Enthusiastic, pro-active, positive attitude with good listening skills and high integrity
